Who I am as a teacher:

• I am open-minded, caring, compassionate, and accepting.

• I am passionate about social justice, and make sure I create a safe space for everyone and anyone.

• I believe that it is important for everyone to truly be themselves.

• I believe in talking about stigmas to create a healing environment is important although often hard.

• I believe in positive reinforcement as the best teaching method, and giving students options to replace negative behaviors.

• I like creating support systems with teachers, and parents, among others, to ensure the best support all around.

• I hope as I help, I also learn.
