Who I am as a teacher:

  • I am an avid and ongoing planner, and a slice of my mind is always in my classroom, continually looking for opportunities to implement interesting elements into the best teaching practices. 

  • Creative grouping varieties, that ebb and flow, are powerful in differentiating for individuals. 

  • The environment in my classroom expresses colorful artistic student work, 'loudly' displayed. 

  • Proactively learning about each student's dreams, fears, worries, etc., is something extra I do that tailors learning to each student. 

  • There is great joy in collaborative working environments, "it takes a village."

  • Infused technology throughout the school day, utilizing ALL and any devices at our disposal, my students lead the way, in us finding applications that match curricular ends with technological means.
