Who I am as a teacher:

  • I am an avid and ongoing planner, and a slice of my mind is always in my classroom, continually looking for opportunities to implement interesting elements into the best teaching practices. 
  • Creative grouping varieties that ebb and flow are powerful in differentiating for individuals. 
  • The environment in my classroom expresses colorful artistic student work, 'loudly' displayed. 
  • I also actively learn about each student's dreams, fears, worries, etc., which tailors my learning to each student. 
  • There is great joy in collaborative working environments, ‘it takes a village.’
  • Infused with technology throughout the school day, utilizing ALL and any devices at our disposal, my students lead the way in finding applications that match curricular ends with technological means.
