Who I am as a teacher:

• I know the importance of having my students see themselves in the curriculum.

• I am that fun and smart teacher who will make you laugh and learn at the same time.
• I strive to make connections from the material to the lives of my students. 
• I welcome and invite parental collaboration. 
• I didn’t forget how it felt to grow up in an immigrant household and to be the first generation in my family to go to college and graduate school.
• I have traveled and taught in schools around the world. Now I bring the world to my classroom.
