Who I am as a teacher:

• I believe in meeting children where they are.  This is where we develop mutual respect and trust...the place where learning and connection happen. 
• If it’s easy, you’re not learning. 
• I am patient with you, be patient with yourself! 
• I believe in prioritizing mental health and social-emotional health.
• Accountability!
• Reading, writing and math are essential life skills...so is being a good person.  Be kind. 
• Never let fear get in the way of learning...mistakes are what we learn from!
