GRADE 7 MYP MATH AND DESIGN TEACHER

Who I am as a teacher:

• I believe that everyone is a math person. 
• I strive to help my students better understand math and how it relates to the real world. One way we will do this is through the design process. 
• I love to innovate and solve problems. I love to tinker with things, see how they work, and think of ways to improve them.  
• Also, I am passionate about social justice and will bring these ideas into my classroom.  Students will see how math and design have been affected by social justice issues and how these topics can be affected when we address these issues. 
• I’m fluent in Spanish, love teamwork and collaboration, and I bring these passions to my classroom!
