OFFICE MANAGER AND VOLUNTEER LIAISON

Who I am as a teacher:

• I am an empathetic individual who takes every friend’s smallest concerns seriously, and I try my best not to be dismissive, as whatever a child is experiencing could very well be the worst thing that’s happened in their young lives. 

• My background is in youth community organizations, and I have spent 7 years working directly with the youth of Seaside in after-school and summer programs.

• I grew up attending a local after-school and summer program while my parents worked, so I have firsthand experience of just how impactful the people who work in these positions can be in the lives of children. To this day, I still fondly remember all the amazing people who helped take care of me and soothe me whenever I needed help. Because of this, I always try to make sure my young friends leave the office with a smile on their faces and a positive experience, especially if they came in because they got hurt or weren’t feeling well. 

• In my free time, I love playing video games, watching the latest Pixar movie, being with my family, and going on long walks with my silly German Shepherd, Paco. I always like to say I’m like a big kid because I still love watching cartoons and playing games like Pokemon and Super Mario.
