ASSISTANT OFFICE MANAGER

Who I am as a teacher:

• I am an empathetic individual that takes every friend’s smallest concerns seriously and I try my best to not be dismissive as whatever a child is experiencing could very well be the worst thing that’s happened in their young lives. 

• My background is in youth community organizations and I have spent 7 years working directly with the youth of seaside in after school and summer programs.

• I grew up attending a local after school and summer program while my parents worked so I have firsthand experience of just how impactful the people that work in these positions can be in the lives of children. To this day I still fondly remember all the amazing people that helped take care of me and soothe me whenever I needed help. Because of this I always try to make sure my young friends leave the office with a smile on their face and a positive experience especially if they came in because they got hurt or weren’t feeling well. 

• In my free time I love playing video games, watching the latest Pixar movie, being with my family, and going on long walks with my silly German Shepherd, Paco. I always like to say I’m like a big kid because I still love watching cartoons and playing games like Pokemon and Super Mario.
